The design is cut from sheet metal, carefully refined, and finished by hand to preserve crisp edges and subtle handmade character. Is 14k Gold-Filled Right for You?
14k gold-filled jewelry is an excellent option if you love the look of solid gold but want a more approachable price point. Gold-filled pieces are made with a thick layer of real 14k gold mechanically bonded to a core metal, making them far more durable and longer-lasting than gold-plated jewelry.
Because these earrings are cut from gold-filled sheet, the outer surface is solid gold, but the edges may reveal a small amount of the core metal. For most wearers this is not an issue; however, if you have metal sensitivities or allergies, solid gold or sterling silver may be the better choice.
